About
I’m a data scientist at Ocado Technology, working out how customers behave. I studied aerospace engineering at Bath, and in my own time I build and run small websites.
Work
-
2024 – now
Ocado Technology
Data scientist, predicting customer behaviour. Before that I joined as a graduate software engineer, working on Java backend services and on robot control with diffusion models.
-
2023
Callen-Lenz
Software engineering intern. Built a Rust tool for talking to proprietary hardware, wired it into the C# ground control software, and fixed critical bugs across the avionics software.
-
2023 – 2024
The Mach Initiative
Aircraft structures lead and web developer for a student team building the world’s fastest remote-control plane. Wrote MATLAB tools to optimise composite layups, ran structural analysis in Ansys, and rebuilt the branding and website.
-
2021 – 2022
3P innovation
Engineering intern. Designed pharmaceutical machines, built proof-of-concept rigs, and led the design of the web handling system for a £1M+ device.
Projects

Websites
A handful I build and run in my spare time, with over 2.4 million page views a month between them:
- a video game resource site
- a directory for hiring venues across the UK
- Christmas snow forecasts for the UK and the US
- a collection of free online tools
-
Yikes! Zombies! Run! 3
A Godot sequel to the two zombie games my dad made.
Education
-
2019 – 2024
University of Bath
MEng Aerospace Engineering, first-class honours, and the Armourers and Brasiers Prize for the best materials project. My dissertation used neural networks as surrogates to simulate woven composites at several scales at once.
- Modelled heat flow through a Space Shuttle heatshield tile during re-entry.
- Simulated a probe being captured into orbit around Venus by aerocapture.
- Designed a hat-stiffened carbon fibre wing panel by hand calculation.
